When I first started working with Tracey, I pretty much gave up paying attention to what I ate, disregarded exercise, and ballooned to a record 310 pounds. I had never been so heavy and unhealthy in my life. I had great internal discomfort, restless nights, snoring and general fatigue every minute of the day. I needed help…Tracey taught me about the importance of the right foods, maintaining steady insulin levels, and learning the many effects food (especially the wrong food) can have on a person’s overall health. With regular sessions, she provided additional feedback, researched products based on my input, and was a good person to share what I was feeling and together we moved to a healthier lifestyle. Immediately, the weight started to drop and my energy levels increased. With one 10-week session, I was able to lose 10 percent of my weight, and feel more rested throughout the day. “I was diagnosed with Hashimotos which led to a Thyroid problem about 12 years ago”

I was diagnosed with Hashimotos which led to a Thyroid problem about 12 years ago. This led to many different issues such as weight gain, swollen legs, stomach issues, brain fog which affected my daily life and wellbeing. Always feeling back put me in a pretty substantial depression. I gained about 30 pounds and was told by doctors that I basically needed to take a pill, eat less and move more. I was even put on diet pills to see if that would "jump start" a weight loss. This was very hard for me because I was always known as that "skinny" girl growing up and was actually having to take supplements because I was too skinny. I went to many different doctors for help and even went on many fad diets with no success. My knees hurt so bad and my legs were so filled with fluid it even hurt to walk. Every three to six months, I was required to have blood work drawn and my body was so messed up I would hop from Hypothyroidism to Hyperthyroidism in that short period of time. I basically was about to give up realizing this was my new normal.

I met Tracey and we began talking about my situation. She told me what she was studying and we began to work together. Tracey was able to give me the tools and support teaching me how to give my body what it needed to feel better and to be healthy. She didn't put me on any fad diets, restrict me from calories or make me work out hours at a time, instead she taught me how to know my own body. She studied all my ongoing issues and came up with a plan which ended up teaching me what proper nutrition and movement looks like. Together we found that Gluten was a major issue for me and once I was able to remove Gluten from my diet, I started to feel better. I began to lose weight naturally, I began to get energy which made me want to move more. My legs and knees stopped hurting. I didn't even feel like a mental goofball anymore. The weight really began to fall off because for the first time in my adult life I had motivation. As of now, I have lost 22 pounds and this was done without starving myself or killing myself at the gym. I feel so much better physically and mentally! I could only walk about a block or so but now I can walk up to 3 miles and really want to be able to run a 5K. I honestly can say that I feel better now than I have in the past 15 to 20 years.

I couldn't ask for anyone better than Tracey to be my Personal Nutrition Coach. Tracey gave me the support, knowledge and even a slight push when I needed it. I don't know where I would be today if we hadn't started talking that day. It is crazy to me that with all the different doctors I have had, not one knew what would work for MY body but Tracey did!
